You could ask now if that price is the best they can do for you...can't hurt to ask...tell them you know it is going on sale for Boxing Day special...they may give you a discount, probably not the whole $100, but it's worth a shot...or you might ask them to throw something else in to sweeten the deal....a case or a USB or something...

Like an earlier poster I would purchase it now, then on boxing day purchase another one and return it at a later date with the original receipt. Though I would verify if the store refunds.

I agree with OP who said to tell them you know the price is dropping and ask for a lower price. I NEVER pay list price or stated sale price for anything at BB. Whatever the price is, whether regular or sale, they always drop it when I ask. Print off the FS flyer for Boxing day, take it to BB and ask if they'll come close. If no, take it to FS and try the same thing. I bet you one of the stores will drop the price. Probably not by $100 but I figure at least by $50.

From the CS at most stores told me that you could buy what you wants/need now save the receipt, buy the same one at Boxing Day sales, and return them with the original receipt..it sounds a bit dishonest, but stores make profits either way and not that you go in the store and take things without paying.

We do this quite a bit.. I realised in 2002, no point if the sweater I bought DM is down by 40 bucks 3 days later. We go out on boxing day and spend our gift cards..well that was the routine for years.. not so sure now.
