Free Bush's Beans!

"More beans, please." I got a baker's dozen of beans for the food bank. Yeah! If us SCers in BC & AB each donated a can of beans, the food bank would look a lot less grim. For all those that have donated kudos to you.

There was a sale on Heinz beans ~2 months ago at SW. I got 5 cases and donated them to the local food bank. I wanted airmiles so even I have to pay for them it worked out fine. The cashier thought I was crazy buying 5 cases of beans. LOL. But when I donated them I felt very good.

This time, I got 2 coupons from a fellow SC'er and I'm going to keep these 2 cans for myself.

I put them in the fridge and eat them cold with whatever. I keep saying that I will heat them and eat with toast, just like my British Dad does all the time.

My mom used to feed them to us that way...mmmmm...she also puts a fried egg on the toast, then the beans....double yum! DH thinks this is revolting, but I LOVE IT! Ohh now I am craving beans'n'toast.
Another fav as a kid was "bangers & beans" chopped up hot dogs & beans.

I got 8 yesterday... cashier seemed slightly annoyed by eight $ coupons... came to the end and said.. "and.. it's nothing!".. lol ... yeah...

I'm keeping 4 and the other 4 will go to the food bank!

I had never heard of them or seen them before, saw the coupon and figured they must be eastern canada only, didn't bother cutting them out. I managed to scrounge up 4 coupons, but the other 10 or so are long gone in the recycling, very ticked at myself. I sure could use free food!

I've done that in the past. But now, I NEVER throw out any coupons unless they're expired. You just never know....
