the other day I got a pack of sharpy highlighter pens for 50 cents at shoppers. I have tonns so i thought what the heck i have some change on me I might as well buy them and donate them. Even if you dont have alot, you can always find something to give.

YAY! Your deals are amazing!! SHaring your pics and strategy with all of us is so helpful.. I have increased my donating and being more mindful of good deals that I may not use but someone can. This week I scored peanut butter(high on our foodbank wishlist) at sdm for a great price..I wish I could get pics and such up to post but I am an old lady with a toddler hangen off my arm!! LOL! I think that will be my goal for 2012 to do more documenting! Bring on pre-school!

Has it been 4 weeks already???? You are doing a terrific job! Zellers had some great deals on kid's clothing this week. My dm bought some tops for a young girl she has heard about through her care worker. It's that time of the year when kids have grown out of their summer "going back to school" clothes and winter coats are getting a little bedraggled. (said the retired teacher) The kind of mittens which "look good" often aren't that warm - especially when the winter winds start to howl and they get wet in the snow!
