Thank you for sharing - it's a great idea and it's got me thinking about what I can do with our families budget to help out in weekly donations. I look forward to following suit with my family. It's a great lesson to teach our children on a weekly basis.

DH and I are inspired. We have discussed and since our budget doesn't allow too much we're going to do $5 a week. Of course, since we want to get as much out of this as possible for ourselves too <that's allowed isn't it?> we'll go to SDM for life brand products to get the 20x points wub 5.

Patty what a great idea you had to do this, there are alot of people in need in the world currently. What you have decided to do is terrific!!!! After reading alot of the threads today, I'm going to do something too, the foodbanks where I live are really low currently, and I'm sure they are low in non-food items too, I'm so glad I joined SC - I've totally changed since I joined this site!!
