You've given me something to work towards this year. I don't usually make New Year's resolutions but I think this is one I could do. My New Year's resolution was always Not to Make a New Year's Resolution. (LOL)

Oh Patty, you never cease to amaze me! (hmm.wonder if DH666 is use to this?)
Yeah I should cut back on Timmies, but it's my reward for walking far(so I don't seize up).
Think I'll try and give up on my K-Cup coffee.
I'll need to ponder further.

heu ! i almost forgot....Great idea Patty and your 1st week streching your $11 is super...
for those who will follow Patty'S idea and put a little something aside for giving....please do not forget our elderly.....some of them in residences never have visitors and/or gifts....here is my little story.....as i did last Christmas, this year i had bought a little something for each resident on Dad'S same unit. With what happend, it was too hard and impossible for me to be there on the 24-25 to give them ...so yesterday, i went and gave each one their gift....as they were many more people than last year, it was just a tiny box of fine chocolate.....beleive me....they were so happy that someone thought of giving them a little something.....some even cried...it was just a little something for me to do and i was happy to do so....Dad is no longer there but if i can, i plan to do the same thing next Christmas.....If i, like Patty, start right now and use coupons, i must be able to buy more valuable gifts....sorry for the long story....Great thread Patty and i too, looking forward seeing all your donation stockpiling...
