VANCOUVER, B.C. - Vancouver police have charged three people in the aftermath of a violent protest by opponents of the Olympic Games.
Police says 22-year-old Daniel Frederick Myers of Shoreline, Wash., is facing a charge of possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Myers is being detained on an immigration matter.
Twenty-three year old Charlotte Christine Hannah, of Vancouver, and 18-year-old Willow Violet Louise Riley, whose home town was not released, are each facing one count of assaulting a peace officer.
Two other men and two women in their late 20s were taken to jail for breach of the peace and released Saturday evening.
Protesters clashed with police in downtown Vancouver for several hours after protesters smashed the windows of the official Olympic store and began spray painting cars.

BTW, the Bay windows have been repaired. You wouldn't know anything happened. One news report I read said that the window display was "destroyed". It was not.
