What do you do for a living?

I work with kids with special needs and when I don't want to talk to anybody, I clean houses.
Walkonby, like a lot of people on this site, the highlight of my day is when the mail comes so we all love you!

I tell my customers on the days when I have to bring them a bill that when I get home I have the exact same bill to look at and pay as them. Then I challenge some of them to "trade" with me. Always gets a laugh.

Hi All!

The reason I said "don't hate me" is because often mail gets damaged,or is late coming, and because so many people have had 1 or 2 negative experiences with their post offices, carriers take the brunt of the complaints since they are the last ones to see the customers. Thank you for the nice comments.

I only take it out on my carrier when he deserves it (like the time they were painting the front door to our building and he just said 'could not deliver' when there was a sign saying to use the back or side doors) but usually I like him because he brings me my freebies

Currently I am a student but as of next year I will be working as a Music Therapist (well an internship at least)

I am currently a SAHM to 3 kids (ages 7,3 and 14 months) and I provide day care in my home for 2 boys (ages 20 months and 7yrs).

I hope to go back to school when my kids get a bit older...did the 1st yr of the R.N. program a few years back and then got pregnant and did not finish.

My hobbies include shopping ( I love finding me a good deal ), baking and reading

It seems simple enough to ask a carrier to go around back, etc. The problem is if they injure or fall/slip while going there and try to go on IOD, it can be denied because they are not following the official " line of route". Darned if you do, darned if ya don't

Actually, the door he uses is classed as the main door but is on a small side road, the main road that the side entrance is on (and the one everyone uses) is on the main road that the city maintains and is always salted etc as the school is across the road - they would be better off using that door full time

I have had lots of new ones, I am so glad my reg mailman is back now, even if he does tell me he ate my mail because it looked too good

I used to be a Health Care Aid(now PSW) but when became single mom couldn't continue. Since then I have had a Home Daycare, Lunch Supervisor, Retail, On Call for YMCA Daycare. Right now sort of jobless and hoping to find something soon!!! I also took two years of Educational Assistant but then they changed the program to certifacate to diplomia mid way. Was going to take too much time and money! What I love to do for hobbys is doing things with my kids, boards games, wii and going for walks. Then my second love my pets 2 cats and a pup. I use to love to read but can't keep my eyes open long enough lol. Then last but not least learning the computer and clipping coupons!!!

Wow that is weird, using the least safe delivery entry as the regular one.
