I don't class savings that way because I would never pay full price anyway lol. If it's regular 3$, on sale for 2$ and I have a coupon I only count that as 1$ because I would never pay $3!
I also hoard my coupons until something is on sale and then I go crazy lol.
Like Carly said, those SDM points really drive up the savings. I did 3 mega bonus redemptions and 4 or 5 bonus redemptions before that. So that's almost a couple of thousand right there.
Thank god for SDM.

Yeah, but some people do so the numbers they 'save' are inflated
I do put regular prices in DH666's excel because I can check it as a pricebook to see what I paid before (because if I have to pay full price, I want to know where has the cheapest full price lol) but for saving tracking I go by shelf price

I created a Facebook application where you can publish how much you saved using coupons! It is used by over 1,000 people and has over 500 stores for easy entry.
You can export the results to Excel and show the coupon savings on your website or blog or Facebook!

Used a lot of coupons since summer but also on things that I normally don't stock up on - like chocolate
.....
We spend about $535/month on groceries for our family of 7 and this hasn't really changed a whole lot since using coupons....I do have a stockpile, of course, and also realize that we pay tax on items even if using coupons. I'm going to keep my stockpile down to a manageable level, really digging into my freezers to empty them out before spring/summer and only using coupons for stuff we really need at this point. So I'm hoping to bring my grocery amount down to about $475 a month.

I have used $4079 in coupons (face value), and another $698.10 in SPC discount. This does not include the sale price, or price matching deals. This also doesn't include the many times I've redeemed at Shoppers!
I would guess that about 50% of this is for my family use (only the things we normally use) and the rest is for stockpile. I did a really nice Christmas hamper for a family, donated to women's shelters, and gave A LOT to family and friends who needed it. I also just boxed up the rest to give away so I can move around in my computer room!! I may cost me a few dollars to buy this extra "stuff", but it gives me a lot of pleasure to share it
There are only a few people I would tell these amounts to, the rest would think I'm crazy. Have I mentioned - I love this site!!!

I'm doing the same thing as you. Just started to keep track of all my savings, I've only saved like $12 bucks so far. Yes, its sad compared to what some of you have saved, but its a start.
