Good thread, was wondering the same myself. Sadly don't have a dog right now but will enjoy it all the same.

Your photos are great, thanks for sharing. Zozo is adorable! Love little fluff balls. I bet Cali and Liam were smart dogs. Handsome.

Hehe Zozo is my cranky lil dog. He likes to think he is the big dog around other dogs. And he is cautious around new people. But once he warms up too you he never forgets you and will love you forever.

Cali and Liam were very smart dogs. Cali was my girl when she was a pup and we first went to see her she curled right up into me, and snuggled right in. Liam would do the stare thing and was always watching, but he was never high energy. But he was the sweetest most loveable dog ever! Always had a smile on his face

you can't be too far away from me, avon! we have all the crows here too. and they do the same thing on garbage day. fortunately, i love 'em and i talk to them all the time and so they seem to say "oh hey, she's cool. don't mess up their place too bad" and leave our garbage alone. it drives my neighbours nuts on either side of us, because they'll have stuff EVERYWHERE and our place is nice and neat.

and to keep this on topic:

here is my baby, sam. he's a purebred english golden retriever.

my parents had a golden named max when i was younger and after he died we didn't get another dog for almost 2 decades! he was a good dog, although i only knew him for a short time. then one day my dad found the breeder he got max from and we went for a drive up there, just to see and since we were moving to a house [from apartment] we brought home sam.

fun fact: he's named after Ulysses S. Grant because my family are huge american history buffs. [my cat's name is lincoln. LOL]

I had a German Shepperd who ate EVERYTHING paper.. Paper towel, toilet paper, kleenex, paper packaging, important irreplacable documents.. ANYTHING. If there was fresh steak and paper towel in my green bin, he would knock it over for the paper towel, and leave all the food! -.- My female chihuahua is obsessed with fluffs and hair.. stuffing from toys she destroys and the pile of dog hair that gathers in the corners from time to time.. I think that is much more weird than paper!

I have 3 pom's and I think they are yappy. The one in my avatar I adopted because his owners were being evicted from apt because he was too noisy. I have 1 standard and 2 toy and as much as I love them they can be extremely yappy, they all have their own distinct personality.

Awwwww. . . such cute little dogs!!! I think little dogs are so sweet but I live in the country with coyotes hovering nearby. . .so I'd never risk a small dog. Have 2 big dogs which I adore though! Fortunately, my cats are wise to them and they can climb.
Maybe someday when i retire I can have a cute little dog. . .just which breed to pick will be the question?

Awww cute doggy pics everybody!! I was watching the video of Sam playing in the leafs and my son is sitting beside and kept pointing to the screen and laughing. I think he likes your puppy

Next month DH and I are getting a new puppy. We can't wait!! She is a Newfoundland pup. Our son loves dogs, but Zozo doesn't really let him get close and only tolerates him he won't play so after researching many breeds we went with the Newfoundland. They are good with children and other dogs, so she will give my son and dog both a playmate DH also wanted a big dog. Plus we also spend a lot of time at the lake in the summer and what better dog to have there!! DH is also a volunteer firefighter so were looking into doing some water rescue training with her in case an emergency comes up. Although it seems to be there instinct to that sort of thing.

Once we get her I'll post some pictures.
