First, I posted this:
Last week, I stocked up on Kellogg's MiniWheats (my family's favourite cereal). They were priced at $2.99 at No Frills and I used the $2 WUB2 coupons so I paid $1.99 per box. Every box had a FPC for cereal! I spent a total of $53.73 for 27 boxes of MiniWheats.
So, today, I took the 27 x FPCs and went shopping for the food bank . . .
At Sobeys #1, I used 12 x FPCs to get 12 boxes of Froot Loops. Every box had a FPC for cereal!
At Sobeys #2, I used 15 x FPCs to get 15 boxes of Froot Loops. Four boxes had a FPC for cereal and 11 boxes had a $10 Hasbro coupon!
What it means is that, for the original $53.73 spent, I got:
27 x boxes of MiniWheats
27 x boxes of Froot Loops
16 x FPCs for cereal
11 x $10 Hasbro game coupons
With the 16 x FPCs and 11 x $10 Hasbro game coupons, I'll just have to go shopping again!
Added March 16:
For the food bank: With the 16 x FPCs, I "purchased" another 16 boxes of Froot Loops that each had another FPC for cereal! - so I still have 16 FPCs!
For next December's Christmas hampers: With the 11 x $10 Hasbro game coupons, I bought 6 x Monopoly Championship Edition and 5 x Monopoly Town. Each game was on sale for $10 at Wal-Mart, so I only paid the tax!Last edited by lotsasavings; Tue, Mar 16th, 2010 at 10:00 PM.

Sobeys ONT has the 525g RiceKrispies on BOGO this week. I got 2 boxes this morning with 1 FPC
I had to pay .30 cause the price of the first box is $5.29 and the max value of the FPC is $4.99. My "free" box was the multigrain Krispies and it had a Hasbro Coupon
Ive got about 14 boxes of frootloops and Cornpops that I kept going back for. I originally bought 2 boxes for $2.99 after coupon. and kept using the coupons to get the rest of the stash.Last edited by mlongboat; Fri, Mar 12th, 2010 at 09:54 PM.

Its a great promo...but here in Winnipeg no such cereal found with the free cereal...I have looked at Safeway, RCSS and Walmart and they only have the free juice, free milk still on them.

Great idea, buying cereal for yourself and then going back to get more for the Food Bank and then getting more coupons in return to get more cereal
Everyone wins!!!!!! The Food Bank doesn't mind you removing the coupons from the back of the boxes???
