As the items were being rung through my boyfriend said do we get qualify for the senior discount? Yep...he's 59..lol!!! We had absolutely no idea!!

WE drove one hour straight to the Sechelt Pharmasave. No shopping cart, ug.....you mean I have to carry my heavy coupon box around all the time?? haha!

Guess what.......... the cashier gave me back .88c free money...after it also paid for my $ 2.99 magazine.....OMG!!
Have not had that happen since double & triple cpn days back in 1980"s!!!

The service was wonderful, and my first cashier asked me if I belonged to that S somethering coupon club, yes thats us SMART CANUCKS!!

I must say it was strange looking around after getting all that double coupon deals for free or almost free!

the cashier rang in the 3 x $10.00 flyer cpns, no issue, then called for help with the $5.00 x 3 internet cpns. Help arrived, he looked at them and mumbled "I know we are going through some internet cpn changes but ring them thru." 3 x $ 5.00 ( she did not reduce the value..whoot)
I even mentioned to her that they usually reduce them to $ 3.00 each!!!!

We also got old fashioned stove popcorn popper set with salt shaker and large candy strip bowl for $19.99. We had seen these at Christmas at $ 50

Then I discovered Physican Formula items for rebates with correct stickers on them..all at 40% off. LD price was cheaper than at Shopper.

I also put out cpns in the store for others to use, and gave a lady hair colour x 4 coupons to choose from, asking her to leave the ones she did not need.....

In SDM I gave cashier a $2.00 cpn for the gal ahead of me for her stayfree purchase, and then gave her a Kotex cpn as well. I think she was shell shocked when I asked her if the box she clutched were tampons or pads!!!!!

Forgot to mention that at SDM we managed to get at 8.30 pm almost closing of the specials for the week.

2 x eggs at $1.99 each

and got a rain check for the Royal toilet paper special and Tissues.

Will use those with the cpns next time...........
