In general, I've been pretty underwhelmed, so far, by the $4 offerings.

Mind you I had high expectations, like patio furniture and frying pans and high-end makeup, but we'll see

I noticed the plastic animals I buy my son used to be $1.50 for a pack and are now $2.50.... Still a good price. But honestly most stuff is cheaper else where if you know where to look. My trips are less and less. And much less impulsive.

dollarama needs to realize we aren't blindly making dollar store purchases, simply because they are at a dollar store.

we are still comparing prices, and we know very well which items are rare deals, and which items are the same prices as the stores down the street.
