4x points? Sigh...I probably won't be able to get anything...and we don't even know when it is.

They've been saying they were going to raise the amounts by 4x for a while now, I was hoping to get something before that happened, doesn't look like it now. And ya, we don't know when the redemption is happening either.

But what about the newer things they released, like paypal? I mean, it's 200-ish pts for $25 but 300-ish pts for an ipod touch... are they just multiplying everything by 4 regardless of what it is worth now?

I have no idea what they have planned. The dvds were added recently and their points amount were much higher than some of the electronics, I think that was meant to show how much stuff would cost if they did make the change. Who knows with them.

I thought they would have raised the points since they released the pay section and everyone has had a chance to get all the Play ptz.

i have been trying to get something for months but within 5 mins of going live for the redemption they are sold out

sounds like normal...they are usually sold out in mere seconds...I think what they really should do is people who have gotten things in last redemption shouldn't be able to get something in the next redemption...but they would never do that..

How do you figure? it will take you 4x the amount of time to get the points needed to redeem.

PTZ Update: We're getting lots of questions from our members about the PTZ increase. As stated in our FAQ: "Beginning in early 2010, PTZ values will increase by 4x on average because there will be many more ways to earn PTZ than ever before." With the launch of PLAY, we've added a new way for members to earn PTZ — tons of PTZ. — and this is only the beginning. In the next few months, we'll be adding thousands new videos, music, games, and major new features. Even with the PTZ increase, prizes will still be very attainable for the active Lockerz member.

Hmm.. I've been on lockerz since the summer, I have over 1500 points, I use the site everyday, I haven't redeemed once yet. Will I be able to still redeem once they raise limits "on average" 4x? I doubt it. bah!

I've been on Lockerz since the summer too and now, I have 1900 ptz and I have never redeemed and gotten something so I'm looking forward to the price increase. I hope it'll be easier to redeem for what I want now since it'll be harder to afford. But I wish there was more than one wave and they would announce at least the date =s

where it says in the quote "prizes will still be very attainable for the active Lockerz member" thats the same quote that Swagbucks used when then increased their 10x in points and made it so there was multiple codes in a day... is it just me or they following each other in a parallel way?
