Lucky! Hope it spreads. I hear my city is getting a WM supercentre, save-on is usually more expensive than WM so that would be awesome for food stacking.

I have a feeling that the more widespread stacking becomes and once manufacturers get wind of it, more and more coupons will include the verbiage "cannot be combined with any other coupon/offer".

I am SO jealous. I just called my local Walmart in Port Alberni to see if our store would be allowing coupon stacking. But the Manager said NO

Yes most of them do but it is a glimmer of hope.

I wonder if this is also a result of Target coming in to Canada, apparently they allow double coupons.

I think it totally affected by target since at target you can stack with no hassle whatsoever an in store coupon, a manufacturer coupon and even get incentive like a $5 target card when you buy blah blah blah

that's exactly what I was thinking -- the manufacturers will just change the wording on their coupons and then it will eliminate stacking anywhere.

I mean, how's the manufacturer going to prove that when WM sends in 5 coupons for reimbursement that they are from one customer or 5 customers? They can't. So if WM was smart and wanted to actually bypass its competitors they would accept all the coupons possible and reward the customer who takes the time and energy to actually shop at their store with their coupons. It sure would be nice if retailers in Canada would start treating coupons as cash instead of turning their nose up at them -- I mean when is the last time a retailer looked at your loonie and said "we don't accept that", yet that happens all the time when you try and use a $1 off coupon. What's the difference?

Yeah, it's strange that they turn up their noses at a coupon that pays them face value plus a handling charge, yet willingly accept credit cards that cost them a fee??? I don't see the logic, can you see the logic? LOL
