It probably has alot to do with the time value of money. I assume they have to wait for reimbursement with coupons, with credit cards they get thier money almost right away, which they can use to buy more product to sell, which in turn makes them more money, etc.....

Humans by nature are lazy, I can see this having an impact to start, but then more and more people will stop using coupons again, and we'll be back to where we are now, only with bonus stores I agree that Target coming in is likely having an impact

I would be interested to hear from someone who has successfully stacked at the Langley Walmart.

I find it strange that only one Walmart would do this on their own when usually Walmart enforces their policies unversially.

Call me a doubting Thomas but I still won`t believe it until someone says that have successfully done it.

I tried it in Langley today. I live 2 cities over but wanted to try it out, and I went expecting disgruntled cashiers not really knowing what to do with the coupons. I got the opposite!
My cashier put it all through like a rockstar! She was quick and efficient and pleasant.
I'll be going back again for sure.

I bought some straight forwards items with coupons and then I used printable coupons for Ziploc and Glade. The glade was only $1.13, but the coupons were for $2, and she put the coupons through as $2 (yay overages!)
The stacking I did was on Covergirl. I bought 2 items (for $13.98). I used 3 different Save $3wub2, and 2 sets of $1 off for a total of $13. I also stacked for Cloverleaf Tuna. I bought 24 cans (don't worry they had TONS of it!), and stacked a bunch of the take 5 coupons.
I spent $11 for $65 worth of product.

Then in contrast, I stopped at another walmart (to pick up the Adidas deodorant Langley didn't have), they pm'd it just fine, but tried to tell me I was only allowed to use a coupon on one of them (and they were worried because the product was $1.99, but the coupon was for $2) It took longer to buy 6 deodorant there than it did to do all the stacking in Langley.
Long story short - Langley Walmart impressed me. My only critique would be that they didn't seem to have as many choices in their food dept. (I'm guessing because of the renos?)
All in all, a great experience.

    Awsome!!!!
Thanks so much for your time in typing out purchases.
It gives us a better idea that a real stacking transaction happened.
I read earlier on here (I think) that if the coupon says "cannot be combined with other offers", ...do you know if they looked for that or if any of the coupons you used said that?

So at LD, we go to customer service to handle this ... at Walmart, is it the same, or can any cashier handle it?
    Cheers!

You're very welcome. She didn't even look at the wording, I'm sure.
And we just go through the regular tills.
