I am thankful that my brother was not hurt more in his accident on Friday. Car's can be replaced people can not

That is so true! Glad to read your brother was not hurt badly. We lost my 28 year old nephew a month ago today in a bad accident. He had a wife and a 20 month old daughter. Having a difficult time with this so we are not having Thanksgiving this year

Time of being together with my Brother in Law,went to the cemetary,helped him in sorting through more of my Sister's stuff,and then dinner together.
Life does go on as it should.

Today I am thankful for being able to spend a special Thanksgiving with my parents and husband. I wish my brother could have been here but I am thankful that I will see him for Christmas.

I am thankful for new beginnings and for fall that brings change with it.

I live alone and have family who have been abusive and have no children or family to spend holidays with. At times like Thanksgiving it is difficult to feel loved, special or even wanted. BUT, today I am thankful for my day at the Rockton fair. Although I went alone the many horses I stroked knew my heart and lavished me with nuzzles, head rubs and let me hug, kiss and speak ever so softly to them as they in turn touched me with their giving and gentleness.
