What are you thankful for today?

Im always thankful for the same things every day... lol...hrm.. lets see..

I'm thankful for everything in my life..


I mean, how can we not be? Devestation surrounds us, yet we have food on the table, a roof over our heads, clean drinking water, and all of the luxeries like cell phones, computers, etc... I think its really important that we remember this ANY time that we are feeling bad about ourselves or our situation.... We reallyare living the good life. no matter how big ur problem may seem to you, its really nothing in the big picture.

Anyhow, thats just the way I feel. sorry for going on lol...

PS: Im thankful for mybeautiful, loving mother who is always there for me.

I am thankful my grown DD's have planned a birthday party for one of the granchildren who's mom just could not afford it. I get to make the cake, they are bringing the rest so grandma's house has another party.

I am thankful that I punished Kevin last week and he had no computer or xbox because we got to spend mommy and son time together although it cost me a few dinners out and I had to watch tv shows that I loathe. LOL not sure if it's really punishment though.

I'm thankful for the wonderful lunch/girls get together my BF hosted this afternoon. There were 3 sets of sisters, so it made for a lot of interesting chit-chat.

I'm thankful for this thread. Each day I look at my subscriptions and I see "what are you thankful for today?" and it reminds me to take time to think of that. When I'm struggling with feeling down, I spend time reading the posts and realize again how blessed I am (we all are in many ways). Some days it's harder than others, so thankful this is here to help me take the first step to get back on the right track.
