What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful that I grew up having the most wonderful Mom - she provided a lasting legacy that I think I have come close to raising my child as she did us. Somehow with just the right blend of love and caring with discipline and guidance - all balanced with laughter and fun.
I miss her so unbelievably much - but think of her all the time, she's always in my heart, and I do talk to her daily...

I visited my Mom and Mom-in-law and then had supper with my son and his family.The other 2 kids called. I am thankful I have my family.

I'm thankful that no one was hurt when an arsonist torched our minivan this weekend and that my coupon stash wasn't in the van. I sometimes leave the bag in the van. And I'm thankful the gas tank was almost empty so there wasn't a big fireball that might have started other things on fire.

I'm thankful that for the first time ever my grandsons mom brought me flowers and wished me a happy mothers day. First gift from her ever and my son and her have been apart for more than 3 years.

Oh my gosh - that's horrible! It's just sick what some criminals are doing to innocent people and their possessions in this city!

Thanks ShopGirl, Natalka, nanoush. It feels weird when some random act like this just happens out of the blue, no rhyme or reason.

And sort of blank state of mind - hadn't been really thinking about what was next transportation wise as the van had lots of years left.

But it was great how the police and fire fighters responded so quickly and even towed the van away super quickly.
