I am thankful that DH, furbaby and I survived the first leg of our vacation, the dreaded road trip part!

Last night I fell asleep around midnight, woke up at 4am and we were on the road by 5am. We finally arrived at our first stop and settled in at 6pm.

The best part? We get to do it all again in the morning! YIKES

I'm thankful that despite my homeless look, people aren't scared of me and talk to me.
I'm sad that I'm not always that way with those closest to me.

Wasn't it fantastic today??!!
I took out the cushions to our swing, and after playing with our pup, I put her on it beside me (on a towel..lol) and she looked around for a few minutes and stretched herself out to her full dachshund length and let the sun shine and warm up her tummy! I didn't need a jacket...and the sun was hot because there was NO wind for a change!

Ooohhh I can feel it coming!!!! +9 tomorrow!

Thankful the new snow we received this weekend has already melted and is taking the old snow with it. Yea.

that my friend was stable enough to be transported to a hospital in Victoria BC where she will recieve care for cancer and a recent heart attach. Prayers answered =)

Nothing since last Monday, then Nil.
I'm guilty cuz I often sit around feeling sorry for myself, rather than thinking of something I can give thanks for.
I must admit I don't feel too thankful, because I've been sicker. However, I am thankful that despite the sickness I can still do at least what minimally needs to be done.

I know Skippy. Unless I am prodded I don't remember to be thankful every single day and we all should. That is another reason why I like sc! I look at this thread and
think ya, there are reasons I am grateful.
Today's is I am thankful that I am able to use up what I have on hand here in the freezer and cupboards to make the meals( like KellyC's experiment ) and buying the minimum in the food dept. Not everyone has their cupboards stocked well like I do.
