If we are/we're fortunate enough to be able to stay home with our children, it was/is amazing. I loved sending them off to school, making them a hot breakfast and fresh lunches being made every morning. Sigh.....I miss those days. At one point we had 9 children around the kitchen table every morning ( foster children and our own). The kids grow up solo fast, it's amazing to be able to take some time to spend with them.
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

That summer is coming to an end. I love warmer weather, but I'm a fall girl and I love the Holiday season. And the holidays can't get here unless summer is over!

Thankful for great weather and my fantastic kids. Honestly, they are so grateful all the time for everything they have (even if sometimes it's not much compared to their friends, for example) and I really am lucky to have kids that aren't demanding or expectant about things.
I really enjoyed them this weekend! We've had lots of fun together doing things as a family.
How many more days til school ends in June??? I just want them back at home again like the summer.

I am thankful I finished reading "a Game of Thrones" (took a few months, reading and enjoying a chapter or 2 here and there...). Now onto a Clash of Kings!!!
