Hey Everyone!
Here is the official FABS Challenge Thread (Flat ABs for Summer). This is where you will be posting and keeping all of us up to date on how well you are doing for the challenge!
The official start date is Monday April 12, 2010 and runs for two weeks. This is because 1. its great to start on a Monday and 2. because this leaves time for others to join if they want to.
Starting on Monday, you will need to check into this thread at least once per day, and give a status update. By doing this you will allow me to have accurate #'s on the main post for your crunch/situp count. So to do this, I would like you to post this once per day:
"DAILY STATUS: 100/100"
That will be if you had completed your 100 situps/crunches for the day. If you only did 20, please put 20/100, did 300? put 300/100. Remember, this is not a competition between members. You are only challenging yourself. If you can only do 20, that's fine, and if you can do 200, that is fine as well.
For members already started doing their situps/crunches:
WAY TO GO! Thats totally awesome! If you want to count these crunches towards the FAB challenge, that is fine, but do not start posting your daily statuses in this thread until Monday (combine all crunches done from today-Monday in your Monday's status post).

Also...you said crunches/situps. I could do many crunches but only a limited amount of situps. What do I do about that?I Love you; not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.

Do whichever works for you. any variation is fine. I put situps/crunches because peoples tastes are different.... Some people use the medicine ball while doing them, others do not. Just be sure that you are challenging yourself. Perhaps do a couple of situps and the rest crunches? Its totally up to you. Good luck hun

I can do one. but two, thats pushing it.
and you know, if you keep trying, youll get it
Start by doing the modified push up where you are not on your toes, but instead on your knees. this will build strength in your arms and eventually youll move up to the regular pushup

hahaha...I tried it before. I did get way better. I was up to doing about 30 straight when I stopped. It claims if you follow the program, at the end you'll be able to do 100. I wish I had of stuck with it to see!

hmm interesting.
i am going to be checking out the gym nearby here very shortly... we'll see if they can whip me into shape!
