I don't think I have to explain the significance of my butterfly, but I am curious about your rat with wings...?

Well...... much more than a "rat with wings" to me.

I've always been very involved in animal rights and welfare. Long story short, there was a niche that needed filling and it happened to be rescuing domestic pet rats. So I now run Mumsy's Rat Rescue. I'd been wanting a tattoo for many years but never found one that was truly unique. Unicorns, roses, skulls, hearts, etc. How many millions of people have already done that? I've never been one to follow a crowd. Then one day I came across this site http://www.zazzle.com/ratpirate and knew I had found what I was looking for. I love rats, I studied archeology for a year at U of T and am fascinated by the egyptions, and I believe in "angels". This art was a trifecta! I contacted the girl and purchased some pieces from her along with the right to use it as my logo and any other purpose of my choosing. Voila! An Egyptian Goddess/Angel Rat.

The only bad part is that the tattoo artist overdid the black when shading the wings, but the clock can't be turned back. One day I might get it touched up to brighten them up.

Hope everyone had a wonderful day.

No tats or piercings for me (not even my ears). I have nothing against them, but many yrs spent getting shots (diagnosed as diabetic when I was a kid) turned me off of anything sharp, unless I absolutely had no choice.

Fav Rolling Stones song - does Dancing in the Street with Mick & David Bowie count? If not, then either Sympathy for the devil or Paint It Black.

Fav Led Zep is Stairway to Heaven (yes, I admit to being middle of the road - I still like the song).

Never got into Pink Floyd, so don't have an answer on that one.

How about fav Beatles song? When I was in Gr 7, my teacher decided to hold music classes. I think he was looking for an excuse to play his guitar at work. The first 25 or so times I sang Hey Jude, I really liked the song. By the 800th time, I wasn't so sure (gee, wonder what Mr R's fav song was ). I was always partial to In My Life, although I also like When I'm 64 (Indicate precisely what you mean to say, Yours sincerely wasting away).

Recap tomorrow will not appear, I'm afraid. The good news is I'm off to the Casino again to see Air Supply (yes, laugh at me all ya want, I'll be out having a good time ). Recaps will be back to their regularly scheduled time on Sunday.
