best brag ever -donation brag

Okay so i have been working on finding deals -pretty cheap for my donation -i have no pictures but i am sure you can picture this- i have been inspired to donate because of people like pattysmyth, eurilo, small-giving ,jeezabelle and many others -hope i didnt leave a few of you out-plus i have less income to work with -but who cares it feels so nice to give - i am on such a high right now-
so i called interval house(battered womens shelter) in hamilton -on the west mountain today -actually i called her 3 months ago- i was putting together a lot of coupons over the few months- i went there at 1.30 -they greeted me at the door let me in for a minute and thanked me over and over -they will give them out in the common room tonight-she let me sign their donation book and siad if you ever wnat to give again please do
I gave 10 medium bags bought in the dollar store for 2/1.25 in each bag was
-(10) gum toothbrushs -i managed to price match to rexall a while back for.99 then i had .50 cents coupons =.49 cents each
-(10) deodorants mostly secret =.50 cents each -you know i used the buy 3save 9.00 buy3 save 4.00 from awhile back
-(10) full size satin care 1.00 each -i averaged
-(10) soft lips -only paid the tax =free from the 2.00 printable coupon
-(10) bars of various soaps indivudual-mostly dove -i opened the boxes -left them in the indivudual box=.50 cents each
-(10) st.ives facial scrub-free only pd the taxes-cause i used the 1.00 cpn
-(10) olay body wash 1.00 each averaged -used the buy2 save 4.00 buy 1 save 2.00-i looked for these everywhere on sale
(10) sample tampons U from kotex the saleswoman in pharmsave was talking to me when i bought the olay there one day -i told her i was working on donations and she gave me 10 free boxes of the sample-kotex -i thanked her too
oh yes bought tissue paper for 1.25 too-and tied the bags together with ribbon-didnt have to buy already had that

So all in all i spent 47.98 maybe a little less cause of all my coupons-plus body wash was different prices at different times

easily if we didnt use coupons this would have been 100.00- it just felt so right to be able to give from my coupon use - after all it is easter soon - i wanted these women to feel cared for from someone. thank you for listening to my wonderfull brag
