I made my brother's each a basket for their birthdays (on the same day but a year apart). Here is what I put in them and how much it cost me.
Basket 1
1xpair of khaki shorts= $9.94 (clearance) JOE
1xGillette Fusion razor= $5.99-$4.00= $1.99 (Had this in the cupboard)
1xGillette shave gel= 0.33
(Breakdown I got 3x$1.99= $5.97-$5 off WUB3)
1xGillette deoderant= $3.99-50%= $2.00
1 Gillette body wash= FREE WUB Deoderant
Basket 2
1xpolo shirt= $7.94 (clearance) JOE
1xGillette Fusion razor= $5.99-$4.00= $1.99 (Had this in the cupboard)
1xGillette shave gel= 0.33
(Breakdown I got 3x$1.99= $5.97-$5 off WUB3)
1xGillette deoderant= $1.54-50%= 0.77
1 Gillette body wash= FREE WUB Deoderant (Had an extra one from a previous deoderant purchase)
The break down of the doderants
1x$3.99-50%= $2.00
2x$1.54-50%= $1.54
used $5 WUB3
The baskets were $5.99 on clearance for $1.24
Grass to go in the baskets $1.99 on clearance for 0.44
In total basket 1 cost: $14.89
In total basket 2 cost: $11.66
I am so excited about this as it looks like I spent a lot more then I actually did! I hope that they like them. Thank you to everyone on SC who have changed the way I shop!!This thread is currently associated with: N/ALast edited by Mandieskyla; Thu, Apr 15th, 2010 at 08:39 PM. Reason: forgot something

I love getting gift baskets and I think everyone else does, too! Especially when they are full of things you actually need and use!
