Mentioned in another brag, but this is so big, it needs one of it's own! lol
I didn't do my taxes last year (since I wasn't a PR and thought I had to do them in US) so we haven't been receiving the CTB (or the UTB...one of those, anyway, lol). We've only been getting the $100/month from...whichever it was were receiving, lol.
Well, I did my taxes a little while ago, and yesterday we received a nice big cheque.
    $3800!!!!!!!!!!!
(But it included that $100 payment for this month.)
This is really GREAT, because now instead of taking out some money from the taxes, we can just use this! Even better, because we were only getting back $2700, so now we can have some more 'fun' money. (We were already planning on saving a fair bit, now we're just saving all of that.)

So, here I come new TV, and desktop! Plus, I'm wanting to take Luna to Wonderland before the baby gets here.

Plus the extra amount you'll now get EVERY month! Plus that amount increases when the new baby arrives.

Yeah, but that's all gonna go to savings.
We never use the money we get from Luna except for 'extras' like eating out (since we were only getting the $100).
I guess now we'll use the $100 on them and save the rest.
We're apparently putting $4000 in, never to touch until the kids are 18...plus whatever we keep adding, lol.
