Today was my regular "all to myself day", so like every thursday I hit barrie looking for some deals. My best score ever was at Zellers and I price matched with Giant Tiger, Food Basics, and No Frills. Here is what I got:
2x nestle water (24 pk) = 1.87 each
2x windex 1.99 - 1.00 cp = 1.00 each
2x scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner 2.77 -1.00 cp = 1.77 each
5x scrubbing bubble toilet gels 1.99 -1.00 cp = .99 each
1x pledge 2.99 - 1.00cp = 1.99 each
6x Mr Clean 1.99 -1.00 cp = .99 each
1x dawn dish liquid - 1.49 -.50 cp = .99 each
4x scope - 2.99 - 1.00 cp = 1.99 each
2x scrubbing bubbles shower refill - 5.99- B1G1 coupon = 3.00 each
4x Glade S&S refills - 4.99 -B3 SCJ products get $5 off glade = FREE
4x catelli pasta - 1.29 - .50 cps = .79 each
6x catelli pasta - 1.29 - .75 cps = .54 each
1x fantastik trigger spray - 3.99 - buy SCJ product get free = FREE
Total before discounts = 100.00
Coupons = -58.94
Avatar Card = -10.00
OOP 31.06 w/ tax
(Tax was 11.19)
I didn't notice until I was just posting this that they only charged me for 1 box of catelli pasta
(She took the coupon off but didn't charge me for them) So, do I take them back or not? It looks like I owe the store 8.37. It is a 35 drive to zellers

The store will just write off the loss, I would not be too worried. It was the cashiers bad, not yours. Zellers/HBC post pretty good profits every quarter, so I wouldn't worry myself. I have a hard time feeling sympathetic to large corporations. If it was a mom and pop place, I would say I would make the effort, but not big chains. Nope, don't feel bad at all.

When they make the mistake they just accept it. It isn't like you were trying to scam them. Just be excited. You did good

Good job! You did so many PM's and it was your first! Excellent.
As for the return over the oopsie...it was their error. I may or may not be a little biased since Zellers doesn't participate in SCOP and is notorious for having the wrong prices go through at the cash register. In those instances, they aren't too overly concerned about whether or not you are getting a fair deal (removes herself from soapbox).
Really, great job with those huge savings.

I just looked at my flyer and you all are right! It runs from wednesday to thursday. NOW I FEEL REALLY BAD! I did not notice a difference on the dates. The Cashier even took my flyer and inspected it and she didn't notice it either.
