The bumbo recall...honestly I am surprised it hasn't happened before now. IMHO this recall is due to lack of common sense and supervision, but here is the link!

You can order a retro fit kit to upgrade your bumbo to make it "safe." The link is in the article. It is a lapbelt of sorts.

Graco high chairs recalled -
Graco Classic Wood Highchairs



Description: This recall involves all Graco brand Classic Wood Highchairs sold in three wood finishes. The high chair has a top seat, bottom leg assembly and removable tray. The high chair is sold with a beige fabric seat cover. Model number 3C00BPN, 3C00BPN TC, 3C00CHY, 3C00CHY TC, 3C00CPO or 3C00CPO TC is printed on a label on the underside of the seat assembly.

Authorities in Canada and the United States are warning against the use of a brand of children's high chairs due to a risk that the seats may come loose or detach. Health Canada and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission say Graco Classic wooden high chairs pose "a fall hazard to the child" and are being voluntarily recalled by the company.
