Last week I made 3 different batches of hot sauce ranging from HOT to Extreme HEAT!

So today I took a bottle of the HOT to the pub to have with my wings and for everyone to try.

Seems it was a hit, I got an order for a 5X batch, to be featured as their new Suicide Wing Sauce!
Guess I need to come up with a name?

So far its just "Roasted Pepper Sauce with Mango, Garlic & Lime".

Here ya go M-Man, you got to get some of these HP56 Death Strain peppers for your extra hot sauce.

Well, there is a new hot pepper being grown and I found a video of the idiot who wanted to try eating half of one. Warning for those with a week stomach as the idiot is sick about half way through the video.

According to a WBTV interview with Ed Currie, owner of Puckerbutt Pepper Company who created the Carolina Reaper, there is a new contender for the title.
HP56 or HP56 Death Strain, as some have called it, weighs in at almost 3 Million Scoville Heat Units. The Carolina Reaper’s hottest SHU rating was 2.2 Million. Currie became the current record holder with the Carolina Reaper back in 2013.



Currie seems to be proud of his new creation and we’re really excited to see how this one unfolds. Check out the interview and see the reporters reaction to tasting this new pepper below.
