Loocie is stopping in just to say what the heck!
Am I dating myself by my reference to my tape deck?
I still have an Eaton Viking player where I'd play my cassettes,
Even long before the days of floppy diskettes,
I've been reviewing my tapes with fondness & memories so vivid,
Songs I'd play over & over till my father was livid!
I've got The Captain and Me & BTO,
& that hunky Cat Stevens (man he was a beau!)
Band on The Run, Dark Side of the Moon,
Goats Head Soup used to blast in my room,
In my burnt orange haven with shag carpeting,
Life was grand....till you lost an earring,
My musical mementos sit upon my book case,
If you remember Deep Purple can't you just feel the bass?
Is Loocie a wee bit dated? ….. this just might be true,
But my tape deck is now working almost as good as new!
So on a bright Thursday afternoon, I shall get reacquainted,
& touch base with some times before life was not so tainted.

Wow!! Didn't know smart Canuck had rules that you couldn't reply back with good morning or afternoon !! I guess that's what makes me different then other people .. like see that someone is actually reading their comments ..not just clicking and liking .. if they didn't read it ...SORRY !! I will stop making comments . Before I finish like say have wonderful day !!

Just an observation on my part here.
Some members choose to say "good morning" or similar as a salutation on their first post of the day - its all-encompassing, like saying "how're you doing?" which is given out without any real expectation of reply.
That said - if one is disposed to send an individual greeting or acknowledgement the PM button can be utilized and makes it personal.
As for me I usually get on here and just start blurting - like some odd form of comedic Tourette's.
It can become tiresome to have to scroll through pages of stuff that could easily be consolidated into one single post and I'm not just referring to you here; not to mention the enormous size of this site that must be creaking under its own weight.
Hope this helps with perspective.
