Starting Tuesday, September 5th, listen for the Q-2-call. If you’re caller #7, you’ll have to guess a number between 1 and 107. If you guess the number correctly, you’ll score yourself some cash! If you blow it, we’ll add $100 to the pot!
Once the number has been correctly guessed, we’ll play again the next weekday at 7:00am and start off the pot with $5,000!

Happy to report that I got our pond for fish and Lilly Pads up and operational today after installing a new liner. The old one lasted 22 years and was way beyond repairing

Seals, pump, and filter all working perfectly. A little late for the summer, but we will be able to enjoy them all for at least the next two months. New goldfish will be introduced tomorrow to eat all the mosquitoes flourishing in the pond. Usually, have about 50, but this late in the season, 30 will do. Because I heat the pond in the winter, most of them survive and we get many new offspring in the spring. Nice to see the cycle of life in such a small pond. My Grand Children and neighbours really enjoy seeing their development.

Glad this task is over and we can enjoy the fish again.

Toronto’s Air Canada Centre to be renamed Scotiabank Arena in 2018

The Air Canada Centre in downtown Toronto, home of the Maple Leafs and Raptors, will be renamed the Scotiabank Arena next year. Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) said in a statement Tuesday afternoon that the company has signed a 20-year naming rights agreement with Scotiabank. The change of name for the venue at Bay Street and Lakeshore Boulevard West will occur in July. It will always be the ACC to me, like the "Skydome"

WestJet, Air Canada cancel scores of flights due to Harvey

Canada’s two largest airlines have cancelled scores of Texas bound flights, affecting thousands of passengers. WestJet says 25 flights between Calgary and Houston have been cancelled since Friday, while Air Canada has scrapped several flights between Houston and airports in Montreal and Toronto, but wouldn't provide details about the number of passengers affected.
