Yup...Was a real good time again...20 in our group this year...it's always fun when you have a few rookies to initiate .
As usual it was hot but the race on Sunday started at 3:00pm and was a bit cloudy. Nice to see Bubba win the truck race race on Saturday

I was going to comment about the name change for the Air Canada Centre next year. Then I saw a comment from one of my FB friends who summed it up perfectly:

"So instead of being named after a much-hated company that bleeds its customers to death with charges for things that used to be included at no extra cost, it's now going to be named after a much-hated company that bleeds its customers to death with charges for things that used to be included at no extra cost."

AL Joynes satd:Just been chatting with Dan Clancy of Lighthouse revealing some sad news that with a heavy heart telling me founding member Of Lighthouse and their drummer since inception, Skip Prokop passed away today. They'll be more news coming from the family but I send my condolences to Jamie and the Prokop family and friends at this time.

Just noticed your post - The fish are for watching and not for eating. They are our backyard swimming pets. The only things that eat them are the Blue Herons that visit our pond for an easy meal in the mid summer and fall.
Those cheeky birds.

We really enjoy the pond as do all our grandchildren and neighbours who visit regularly to see how the fish and lily pads are doing.
The flowers that the lily pads produce are truly beautiful and are a constant reminder of natures beauty.
We have benches set up to watch the fish, the lily pads and to enjoy the soothing sound of the rippling water of the waterfall that I manufactured 22 years ago.
Still works very well today.
A visit to our pond is a very peaceful, enjoyable and restful period for all.

Everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy our bit of nature in the city.

I think I'll ride to Florida through the Monongahela National Forest.

Why? Because with a name like that
