VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE SHOW


Planes leave every 15 minutes for Lauderdale (there's no Fort get over it).
You could walk from the airport but the TSA won't let you.
Trust me I know these things.
Temperatures will be in the low 80's.
Hell, might as well take a cruise, the port is right next door.

Mark your calendars for the biggest Vintage Motorcycle show in South Florida! Over 400 antique bikes will be judged under the trees at beautiful Frost Park in Dania Beach. There will be live music, vendors, bike parts swap meet, food, dealer exhibits, motorcycle field games, Roller Derby Girls, vintage bicycle display, kiddy play area and more! The event is FREE to the public with a fee to enter bikes. Proceeds benefit Stray Aid & Rescue, Southeastern Guide Dogs and Dania Beach Lions Club.
So bring the whole family for a day of sun and fun!!!

Just caught this on Facebook and thought some might be interested:

Our family sat together this morning with the Medical Examiner – Coroner’s office and we were informed of their final analysis that Tom Petty passed away due to an accidental drug overdose as a result of taking a variety of medications.
Unfortunately Tom’s body suffered from many serious ailments including emphysema, knee problems and most significantly a fractured hip.
Despite this painful injury he insisted on keeping his commitment to his fans and he toured for 53 dates with a fractured hip and, as he did, it worsened to a more serious injury.
On the day he died he was informed his hip had graduated to a full on break and it is our feeling that the pain was simply unbearable and was the cause for his over use of medication.
We knew before the report was shared with us that he was prescribed various pain medications for a multitude of issues including Fentanyl patches and we feel confident that this was, as the coroner found, an unfortunate accident.
As a family we recognize this report may spark a further discussion on the opioid crisis and we feel that it is a healthy and necessary discussion and we hope in some way this report can save lives. Many people who overdose begin with a legitimate injury or simply do not understand the potency and deadly nature of these medications.
On a positive note we now know for certain he went painlessly and beautifully exhausted after doing what he loved the most, for one last time, performing live with his unmatchable rock band for his loyal fans on the biggest tour of his 40 plus year career. He was extremely proud of that achievement in the days before he passed.
We continue to mourn with you and marvel at Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' incredible positive impact on music and the world. And we thank you all for your love and support over the last months.
Thank you also for respecting the memory of a man who was truly great during his time on this planet both publicly and privately.
We would be grateful if you could respect the privacy of the entire Heartbreaker family during this difficult time.

Sheer foolishness -

A man walks into the Ann Summers shop to purchase some see-through lingerie for his wife.
He is shown several possibilities that range from £50 to £150 in price - the more see-through the higher the price.
He opts for the sheerest item, pays the £150 and takes the lingerie home.
He presents it to his wife and asks her to go upstairs put it on and model it for him.
While upstairs his wife thinks “I have an idea. This lingerie is so see-through that it might as well be nothing. I won't put it on - do the modelling naked, return it tomorrow and get a £150 refund and keep the money for myself.”
So she appears naked at the top of the stairs and strikes a pose.
The husband exclaims “Stone me! - it wasn't that creased in the shop!”
His funeral is this Thursday.

A mother and her 5-year-old son were flying Aer Lingus from Shannon to Paris.The son (who had been looking out the window) turned to his mother and asked,“If big dogs have baby dogs and big cats have baby cats, why don't big planes have baby planes?"The mother, who couldn't think of an answer, told her son to ask the flight attendant.So the little guy walks up to the galley and asks the flight attendant, “If big dogs have baby dogs,and big cats have baby cats, why don't big planes have baby planes?"The flight attendant responded, "Did your mother tell you to ask me that?"The boy said, "Yes, she did”. "Well then, please tell your mother that there are no baby planes because Aer Lingus always pulls out on time,and ask her to explain that to you." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Prince Charles arrives in the small village of Chipping by Sodbury on a sunny summer’s afternoon to open the church fete. He is greeted by the vicar who notices that despite the very hot weather the prince is wearing a reddish fur hat. He is too polite to ask why and escorts the royal guest round the various stalls. Eventually they arrive at the refreshment tent. Whilst sipping a cool glass of lemonade the prince comments on the stifling weather and eventually the vicar can contain himself no longer and says.

“Excuse me your Royal Highness but I have to ask why on this the hottest day of the year you are wearing this fur hat.”

The prince replies “well it is funny you should ask that as it is awfully uncomfortable but this morning as I was taking breakfast with Camilla she asked be what my plans were for the day.” I told her that I was coming to Chipping by Sodbury this afternoon.” She looked at me, rather puzzled, and after a short pause said, “Wear the fox hat.”
