Thanx KR. That's the problem with going on holidays. I have to cram the last 3 weeks into 5 days. Fun...................Wow! But the holiday was worth it.

Tonight

Freezing rain changing to rain late this evening and ending overnight then cloudy with 40 percent chance of rain showers or flurries. Wind southeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming west 30 after midnight. Temperature rising to plus 3 this evening then steady. Wind chill minus 8 in the evening.

Another special weather statement for GTA

It won’t be nearly as bad as the last two storms but the GTA finds itself under yet another special weather statement as snow is expected to start around noon today. The snow itself will be short lived but Global News Meteorologist Mike Arsenault says it will still be a messy commute home, as the mercury rises. The good news is the system will pass through pretty quickly with a sun cloud mix expected by tomorrow.

Funeral to be held in Etobicoke today for 11-year-old Riya Rajkumar

An 11-year old girl will be laid to rest in the west end today. Riya Rajkumar was found dead on the heels of an amber alert that was issued on Thursday. Funeral services will begin at 9am at the Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre in Etobicoke. The funeral comes just hours after hundreds gathered for visitation in Brampton last night. The vigil brought out a number of residents, including members of Peel Region Police and fire, as well as Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.

Ryan O'Reilly scored 34 seconds into overtime and the St. Louis Blues beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 on Tuesday night for their franchise-record 11th straight win.

So it is Love Your Pet Day, eh?
Now I know why I was late for work today. As I was putting on my shoes and coat and my cat, who was lurking on the shoe mat cut me off an plopped on the floor in front of me so I can pat him. So I did. So I was late for work and I have orange fur all over me. I guess I must love my pet.
