It's been a rough few days for me. Yesterday was the anniversary of my Husband's passing. I haven't slept well at all, and have spent a couple of hours at the cemetery for the past 3 days. A sad time of year for me.

Toronto’s Executive Committee Endorses Road Tolls, Other New Taxes

The city’s executive committee has voted unanimously in favour of asking the province for the power to introduce road tolls on the D.V.P. & Gardiner Expressway, and a new tax on hotels and short-term accommodations as a way to boost revenue. The 13-person committee voted in favour of the new revenue tools following a marathon meeting on Thursday.

Air Miles Cancels Controversial Expiry Policy

Air Miles is cancelling an unpopular expiry policy that was set to start at the end of this month.. The Air Miles reward program said Thursday it is cancelling its plan to implement an expiry policy, which was set to take effect on Dec. 31, 2016. The company said feedback from its users and an "uncertain legislative environment" convinced it to make the decision.
