I'm back and darn is it cold out there.

I still have today and tomorrow.. thinking of dashing over to the States for some groceries.. i don't normally do that but since i have a little time ...what the heck
and Wayne.. i'm kinda glad to see the ground a little more frozen.. the mud that the dogs have been bringing in..yuk.. just haven't been able to keep up to it..

Morning Q's.
Somehow survived camping.
First few nights were cold... low 40's
but daytime high's of 75.
This is actually the only time you
can tent camp here in Florida.
Otherwise it's just tooooo hot.

Kayaking and canoeing Sat.,
saw 11 turtles on just one log.
Lots of fish and one small alligator.
Spring water came out of a big gash in the earth
crystal clear but only 72 degrees.
Gators like it warmer than that.
Had 24 sleep over at our camp
New Year's Eve.

Name that tune and rock trivia all night.
Pandora's an iphone app that will play
any genre of music and adapt to your
likes and dislikes in that genre , don't you just
love technology.....when it works!

well i guess the break has to end, back to work tomorrow, recuperating today, have never ate and slept so much as the last week, was good to get out of the city, my friends trying to get me a job up there. they know my feelings of the city. but i do like the convenience here, especially the music scene.

Back from a trip to the mountain. Only 3 runs open. Lots of piles of man made snow. Have left it in piles as it cant deal with the unseasonable temps much better. Might spread it around soon with many more runs opening.

That reminds me of an interesting story about why caveman dragged their women around by their hair in days of old:
apparently it was because when they were dragged by their feet they kept filling up with sand.
