Easy does it today. I dropped the young'un to school for an early practice, there was no 'accelerator' or 'brake' this morning, only 'traction control' and 'antilock'.

FRIDAY THE 13th...............
Many people hold the folklore superstition,
On Friday the 13th, bad things come to fruition,
There's many origins out there of this enduring belief,
That on this day we'll experience misfortune or some grief,
I take some reassurance catastrophes occur all the time,
Just look at our economic climate and the hill we have to climb,
I think it's best to be practical and tickety boo as you can be,
Don't keep doom and gloom front & centre flashing on a marquis,
Always remember the ones you loves and who truly love you back,
and don't ignore your bills or you'll accumulate quite a stack,
I guess through all this banter, what I'm really saying
Friday the 13th is just a day that gets lots of overplaying,
So don your duds and off you go the weekend has arrived,
I hope it is a good one for all and you feel somewhat revived....
p.s.
(Friday the 13th is responsible for a string of some very bad movies too)

i found a four leaf clover as a gift today - so feeling very lucky
although my nanny who came here on a ship from ireland
- found that her sisters had removed a lot of her new clothes
and replaced them with rocks wasn't, pphhhttt
Clovers can have more than four leaves: the most ever recorded is 56, discovered by Shigeo Obara of Hanamaki, Iwate, Japan on 10 May 2009.[3][4]

Good morning, everyone.
I'm going on about an hour's sleep (the ice/sn*w/wind storm kept me up most of the night - I think I might be allergic to sn*w ). As per our agreement, I'll be expecting the skiers on here to come & collect the misdelivered sn*w. I'll supply the hot chocolate to make sure you don't freeze while removing the white stuff.
Critters are still in bed, where I should probably be.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Not sure if anyone's seen this, it's quite an interesting look at what happens at a bookstore after hours.

Good morning all, hope everyone had or has a safe drive in to work or wherever you may have to go this morning…unless you are lucky enough not to have to go anywhere today…then I hope you enjoy a cozy day at home…
I have to try and fix my wall (made of drywall) this weekend where my close rack fell off and took part of the wall with it. I have two 2 inch holes and two 6 inch holes to fill where there were metal plates from the last time it fell off and we try to patch it. I need to go buy something after work today to fix it…anybody got any suggestions on the best thing to buy? My brother is useless at this stuff and he wants me to get this putty stuff he used on mom’s bathroom wall when her towel rack fell off. I am thinking this is not the best or proper way to fix it but he if being very insistent…I just don’t have the heart to tell him what a useless tool he is when it comes to this stuff when he is trying to help, but you should see some of his previous “fix its” and you would understand that I would rather do it myself then have him help me…lol
Have a great weekend my friends and try to stay warm!!!
