Good Sunday evening Q'Bees....

I hope everyone enjoyed their day...
No rain.... however it became cooler as the day progressed
We had fun at the picnic... we always joke that the dessert table
grows larger every year... and this year was no exception.


We got in the pool while the sun was out, however didn't stay in
long... The wind made it rather chilly....and after changing into
clothes, I stayed inside for a bit to warm up.
I wore beautiful sandals and no socks...
I was so cold...my toe polish looked florescent!

Thank you for the trivia and the WWs, messages and reps.
I haven't tired repping yet, so I still may be under house arrest.

I will rep if they will allow me.

Just got back from Orillia. Caught the last band of the festival. Nice setting on the lake, walked around a bit and went to a chinese buffet one of the only restaurants open! Anyways, nice for a change only wish the weather had of been better yesterday so I could have gotten the whole day and night in at Orillia and then gone to Woofstock today, but anyways that's they way things worked out!

boy, you were brave going in the water. i was ready to bring out my winter jacket. just going out to hang the laundry was too cold for me. was glad i was able to all the rest of my planting done yesterday when it was warmer. sounds like you had a good time despite the cooler temps.

Hi y'all,

We're back! Well, what can I say... Trip of a lifetime: no. Concert of a lifetime, pretty darn close. The concert was listed with a start time of 7:30pm, and they took the stage around 7:45pm. Show ended at 10:45pm, with a short intermission in between (maybe 20 minutes or so). Being front row is great, although we were not center, but to the right of the stage, in front of the keybord and not far from the mike and bass pedal for Geddy Lee.

They didn't have time to play all the hits. Notabely absent were Fly by night and Lakeside Park (you see Wolfie, you didn't miss anything). I do have some pictures and a few videos, and will post them in time. In the meantime, here is the picture from our meeting the band (and Neil couldn't make it).


The meet and greet was just that: we said hi, shook their hand, took the picture and were escorted out. No chatting, no autograph. But it was still a nice surprise.

So I need to download my pictures to my computer, and will try to post more pictures tomorrow evening. I'll also try to remember the set list.

PS: Sorry about the picture size, I can only resize pictures on my work computer, and didn't feel like waiting until tomorrow to post.

My neighbour knocked on my door at 2:30 am this morning, can you believe that..... 2:30am?! Luckily for him I was still up playing my Bagpipes.
