i'm not a metal head by any means and have never been to a metal show so i decided what the heck, since it was touchng down in the shwa tonight. we are going more for the circus act that will take place with the attendees more so than the musical acts on stage, although i admit, i am excited to see Lemmy and the "Head". I am also interested in seeing the opening act. Italian metalheads "Lacuna Coil" oh and of course, my Danish breathren "Volbeat". Anyway, if you're attending, I'll be hiding out in the bar most of the night so come share a drink with me and my friends.

Congrats on the new Blue Hearts CRN and Lee!!!

Went to a Curling Bonspiel yesterday where you play one game, have lunch and then the winners play the winners of the first game. We won both and came out first! That was a surpirse. The prizes weren't real big, bottles of wine etc. I took the $25 gift card to Shopper's Drug Mart since it was worth more than the wine and you can buy quite a variety there including food stuff etc. Anyways, it was fun.

Going downtown shortly - have to meet my daughter and get her OHIP card renewed and get her a bathing suit - just a few more things on the list of things to do before going to Los Cabos this Saturday! Should be a nice resort though

Super-sized stun gun

Police in Hope Mill, N.C. used a stun gun on a woman who butted in line at a McDonalds' drive-thru.

Evangeline Lucca, 37, who was with her 3-year-old daughter, became confrontational when employees would not serve her Friday and asked her to go to the end of the line. Lucca refused to budge and took a shot from a stun gun after cops arrived 20 minutes later, the Pay Observer reported.

A second shot was needed before "she just flopped out of the car like a fish", customer Ander Rickh told the Observer. She's charged with second-degree trespass and her daughter was taken into protective custody.

even with flats, feet & back were still killing. might have something to do with standing on concrete too.

Thats why they say that people standing for extended periods of time should rest one foot on top of a step, or something similar. this relieves the pressure on the back.

So what we should have done is let our new friend to the right of us fall down, and roll her parallel to the stage, for a nice footrest that we could share...
