Good Morning. I can't believe the riots in Vancouver last night. Kinda embarrassing being a Canadian and seeing that. Like is that really necessary I know people were upset, but to trash the city?

But anyways, looks like it's going to be a nice day for the most part. It's always supposed to rain on days when I have baseball I hope it holds out tonight!

I agree with your training assessment - with one caveat, maybe the same one you didn't go into in your "in most cases" comment.

I believe you should train, train and train yet again "in the open" until you get it right and you can virtually do it with your eyes closed - and then train some more. But, at the end of it all, you still need to introduce live fire exercises. In my limited experience with shipboard damage control, I've seen far too many "dry-land" stars absolutely freeze when live fire was brought into the mix. I may not be the best, the fastest and certainly not the strongest, but I know I won't fold at the sight of flames. And that's more than I can say about those who were better, faster and stronger during simulated evolutions.
