Critters are still miffed with me (Lily dog is especially annoyed we didn't stay at the treat dispensers', especially after she had to suffer the indignity of being snubbed by the vet who examined her rather delicate parts & refused her kisses ).

Have to take someone for a wander now. Still haven't had a chance to catch up. Maybe later.

Thanx for the revue and the pix Knotty Thots. Sounds worthwhile. You planning on posting the Genesis pix too?

Jester I did find the better Genesis pictures. And a lot of so, so ones from different concerts. These ones are from London at the Hammersmith it was 1982, they played 3 concerts at the Hammersmith before they played the Genesis reunion at Milton Keynes. I was at all four concerts and we had backstage passes for all three Hammersmith show.

g.m. every1 - happy hump day

haven't been around much lately; soooo much going on, been really busy
my son's dog had major surgery, they had to reconstruct his spine; a 9 hour operation - geez, what that ever nerve racking !!!!
he's home now & can walk, but can't be left alone, so doing a lot of dog sitting

I want to have my 40 year old kitchen gutted; but holy cow, what a process to find a company you want to deal with; pick design, countertops, cupboards, flooring, etc.
Close to a deal with one, then when they start, 6 weeks with no kitchen
Hey, can I beg meals with u guys, 'cause I won't have use of a stove for that time

I was also doing the landscaping of my front - looks great, but it was soooo much work, & wouldn't u know it, this week they started tearing up the road & replacing the curbs, so some of my plants, stone work, mulch, etc. will be destroyed !!! I'm so upset !!!

Anyhow, just wanted to catch you up & explain why I'm not here much.

Your front yard looks amazing hicks!! Do you want to come landscape my yard too?? I hope they don't do too much damage....

don't know yet. i was able to stop in last night before they closed & spent some time with my furball. she was still a bit groggy, but was happy to see me. she got belly rubs & was purring like crazy. her eye looks much better, now that the swelling has gone down. i was going to pay last night, but they didn't have the bill totalled off yet. guess i'll find out tonight.

Glad to hear that your furball is on the road to recovery.... It's hard when our loved ones are sick.... you feel so helpless...

The wife and I went to The Queen Extravaganza last night. I knew very little about it, that it why I got the cheaper last row seats. I had also not been to the Queen Elizabeth Theater. The theater is a nice small venue; the seats were not bad thou I stood the whole show as the wall were padded. The show started right on time and the first song was pretty good. I was kind of surprised because I was not expecting much, well it got better and better, I must say I was impressed. The used four singers, one girl and three guys and really had Freddie’s sound down. The rest of the band nailed the songs pretty well spot on. If you ever get the chance to go see it I would recommend it highly.
I have included some pictures they are colourful and not great. I guess the advice did not help Tad. I had better luck with old manual film camera back in the 80’s I managed to get some decent photos of Genesis.

O.K., alright I'm usually the bad guy here
and since I think it needs to be said I guess I'm elected.
It is absolutely ridiculous and a total loss of perspective
and misplaced affection to spend thousands of dollars on
animal surgery while kids starve worldwide and amputees go
without artificial limbs etc. etc. etc.
Give your heads a shake.
These are animals and people are people ,not vice versa.

I know I'll hear about this from many of you
but really ,think about it.
