Missed the local Rememberance Day Service...planned to go but got very busy at w*rk(perfect day for it). Was at the hospital where 1 minute of silence was followed by a reading of In Flanders Field.

Whew! What a relief to learn this...
Ever walk into a room with some purpose in mind, only to completely forget what that purpose was? Turns out, doors themselves are to blame for these strange memory lapses.
Psychologists at the University of Notre Dame have discovered that passing through a doorway triggers what's known as an event boundary in the mind, separating one set of thoughts and memories from the next. Your brain files away the thoughts you had in the previous room and prepares a blank slate for the new locale.
It's not aging, it's the door! Thank goodness for studies like this.

Florence and Venice are nice the Emalphy coast not sure of spelling supposedly breathtaking driving the winding coast. Pompeii is awesome. Naples very dangerous mafia run the city. Pesa isn't anything special other than leaning tower of. Rome foe sure Tne vatacain if your into that is interesting. The trains are really a good way of getting around driving is crazy they drive very fast and don't really follow signs. I'llthink of more but that's a start.

I am remembering my good friend "Frenchie" Frank Oberhack who just passed away a month ago at the age of 84. He was so full of life. I was dancing (he could really shake his booty) with him the Friday before he passed he died two days later. I was surprised, i will miss him my Saskchwanease friend. Had some great laughs. He fought in the Korean War. He is at peace with his wife Sandy now. Remembering all those who have fallen and to the survivors who fought for us all and our country. Never to be forgotten. R.I.P. Frank.

Happy Sunday to all. Should be relaxing for the evening but instead I have to head to the Oshawa Generals game with my daughter and her hockey team. It should be a fun time anyway. :O)
