Hope everyone enjoyed their day.
Critters are annoyed with me, cause I had a lovely lunch at the Keg and didn't bring home a doggy/kitty bag.
Off to see what I missed in SC land.
Night all.

I'm ranting on FaceBook again...
US guns laws are just fine, right? A 24-yr old neighbour bought the AR-15 semi-automatic rifle used on Christmas Eve to murder the suspect's sister and two responding firefighters. As a convicted felon, he couldn't legally own such a weapon, and she broke the law by falsifying her intent when she made the purchase. She will be prosecuted for that administrative offence, whereas she is in effect an accessory to murder. So now we are about to hear a debate about the adequacy of controls and monitoring without addressing the root issue - why are these guns available to civilians at all? If you think the 2nd amendment was intended to be interpreted to allow civilian ownership of military hardware, you have your head so far up your ass that you can peek out of your own navel.
Skiiiipperrrrrrrrrrrrr!

i was a weapons tech in the army, i have fired every hand held weapon and rocket type weapon we have in the army. i use to hunt. i love my firearms, that redneck thing, but the only thing kept at home is a handgun which is trigger locked and in a safe. we had typical teenager so all precautions were taken. these amendments in the us were made for sane hunters and collectors and sportsmen. it a shame it makes all others look horrible. anyone supplying someone with a firearm should also face the charge commited by the firearm. things would change quickly. i highly repsect firemen, they are a special breed.

I don't know what to add........so well stated.
The facade of Americana continues to crumble. These "events" will continue to happen & that 2'nd amendment law gets tossed into the mix for reasons that I sure don't relate to.
I'm glad to live in Canada.
