Attachment 164495
A bunch of guys were wind surfing near our resort... Never seen it done this way before....

The Jolly Roger (Party Boat)
This is apparently the oldest church in the lower group of Islands

Attachment 164498
There were crypts surrounding the church and in the walls and floors of the church... I could see a horror movie filmed here.... very eerie - even in the daytime.... We were there on Ash Wednesday just before 5:00pm mass and heard them ring the bells... I completely forgot it was Ash Wednesday
and thought they were ringing the bells for us...

One of the views in St. John Parish

This was along the east coast of the island

more to come....

Found these answers at ...
http://www.funtrivia.com/en/subtopic...on-200146.html
- Who was the engineer of "Dark Side of the Moon?"*
Alan Parsons - Before "Dark Side of the Moon" was chosen as the title, what was the working name of the album?*
Eclipse - There is something very odd about the song "Money". What is so odd?*
The time signature - What is the subject of the song "Us and Them"?*
War - How many takes, or tries, did it take David Gilmour to get the guitar solo right for the song "Time"?*
One
I must say that I am not totally convinced of the last answer, I remember hearing that the 7/4 time signature messed Gilmour up so they changed it to 4/4 for the solo then back to 7/4 for the rest of the song. That would seem to indicate that he tried a few times in 7/4 first. Anyway, above are the answers I entered, good luck to everybody.
Wait, forget what I just said, that was Money, not Time. They did the same 'switch to 4/4' thing with Time but it was from 7/8 not 7/4.Last edited by psells; Fri, Feb 22nd, 2013 at 10:48 PM.

This was taken inside "Flower Cave" at the top of the Island... All of the rocks were coral... I've only seen coral "in" the water...
Our guide said that the "owner" lets the locals have parties inside the cave in the summer time - as long as they are out by the morning so that they can resume tours... Inside is a natural pool that the locals swim in to "cool down" in the summer months.... Our guide said that the weather (and water) were really cold... It dropped down to 20 Celsius the night before we were there and he said he was wearing a hoodie and long pants to keep warm... (aww... poor baby) He said that the water was also very cold and that they wouldn't jump out of the cave or into the pool until the water warms up, the swells go down and the tides recede... Funny, hubby and I were in the water the whole week while we were there and found it quite warm.... I don't know the exact temperature of the Caribbean Sea, but I know what our lake is like in the summer (tops 80 Fahrenheit) and it felt warmer to both of us....

These were taken along the east coast of the Island... Breathtaking views!!!

I can't believe I caught this pic!! There were 3 guys out surfing while we were there.... amazing!!

This was taken from the deck of our resort overlooking the sea towards Oistins... I don't remember ever seeing such blue water... the first couple of days, the water was crystal clear... by the end of our trip, the winds picked up (red f l a g was up) and the water was not as clear, but still amazing and blue.... The waves were big and it was quite a good work-out "playing" in the water...
