evening Q sters,
been a busy couple of days. it took 2 1/2 hours to drive from Hamilton to Toronto friday night. what a nightmare. but it was all worth it to see Pat Benatar. she put on an excellent show with her husband & the rest of the group. He is an awesome guitar player & she hasn't lost her powerful voice. it was 2 hours of pure fun & joy. the drive home only took an hour.
today was Leathertown festival day & it was an awesome turnout with lots of venders & entertainers. weather worked out well this year unlike the last 2 years, where it rained both days & a lot of people & venders cancelled.

had another flippy experience here at 1230 ish last night
heard someone laughing and running across the front lawn
maybe 6 feet from the window, hence eek
yelled out i am calling the police
and called 911.
apparently didn't seem dangerous to the police, although
i was told to call back it the situation changed.
it did, i checked outside with the flashlight === no one around.
so called 911 back to say - nevermind. she still wanted someone
to show up === so they did.
terrific pair of cops, looked all around the house etc.
apparently as i always knew this place is in a low crime area
it was an odd occurrence.
