Good morning, everyone.
Another busy morning of baking ahead of me, as well as trying to play phone tag (hope I'm it and get caught ) with friends.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

so moving in there rockit --- see you then
lee everywhere in nova scotia is beautiful - my dad is from
ns and used to go for a holiday visit ever year to stay with
my grandmother named after me, haha and yes not madchives.
try catherine ann which my mom had chosen before she met my dad.
a terrific woman except of course for the racist thing hence
they had a 'n----- hil'l, but also seemed in later life more accepting
as she was seemed upset about a school teacher in cape breton i think
fired because he had hiv.
i never told her why i always wanted the gf who i went with in the same bedroom
guessing after i said don't bother to the offer the first time she realized.
but from a small town in ns sounds to me interesting that she became
in to our life now just seems normal ish.
i do still miss her a lot, she died when she was 105, imagine what was invented
when she was alive, born in 1899 geeeee.
getting wimpy of course,,,
read an interesting article about chester ns, wondering why i haven't been there

TGIF, Q sters!
looks like a beautiful day out there. can't wait for tonight. i can cross off a few more groups off my list of groups/people to see.
like all of you i was shocked when i heard Dominik say this was his last show. he had just mentioned that this was the last Dominik road show for the summer, then the next sentence was this is his last show. thanx Lee for sharing his facebook message & HG for finding out what station he's on. he has such a wealth of musical knowledge & i really enjoyed his stories about his kids & music personalities that he's interviewed, meeting him at the Q events & so on. like all of you i will miss him, but hope his new morning job works out well for him & he is able to enjoy the evenings with his kids. Wow, back to NS.
The new show is NOT in Toronto.
It IS a Morning Show.
I am very sad to leave - I love the Q, Corus, this city and the people.
But... I am so pleased I can spend more time with my kids. It's been tough to be away from them in the evenings. Very tough.
I have never been as excited about a new radio show since Xfm Scotland.
Unlike Xfm Scotland, no suited wanker is going to ruin THIS one. Promise.[/QUOTE]
All the best to you, Dominik! you will be missed.

i think people involved with media have some sort of contract where their last day is the only day they can
mention it as it does seems to be the norm here and there --- granted a nasty norm
have noticed this when barbara budd left the cbc, bling she was gone gone and was some silly
contract thingy, i have protested against apartheid, for abortions, the post office and of course gay rights
but i really personally did not like when barbara was fired due to some union thingy - she obviously is a
journalist. paper work blah blah
my fav lately pres --- and of course having a problem posting the one click link
i love being typical,,,,guessing a lot of you absolutely love how that antonitte tuff
woman handled that situation, i was happy to see that although she shut down i guess
her fb page she still had the option of sending comments, is ever i wanted to
send something except here and there it was her so did

National Hug Your Boss Day is recognized on this day,
Is your boss a hug-worthy one & will your sentiments convey?
Do you hold your boss in high regard or somewhere in-between?
Have you ever had a boss that you felt was just plain mean?
I don’t think you have to buy your boss a gift as it isn’t protocol,
So please do not go rushing out to brave crowds in the mall,
Maybe your boss is nice & just lets you do your job,
Maybe your boss needs to clean up his desk & is a colossal slob!
You know they say don’t get too close to your boss or over-ly chummy,
But have you ever had the hots for your boss cause he was just yummy?
Everyone likes to be the boss & instruct others on what to do,
& to all of you bosses out there, here’s a great big hug for you!

Hi there, happy Friday! I am so sad to hear that Dominik is leaving... err gone.
Someone else mentioned the morning shows that he stood in for Derringer, and I have to agree. I think he did a fantastic job! I'm always a little disappointed when John or Mo announce that they will be away but I found that Dominik made me forget that anyone was missing.
Our loss, Bridgwater's gain. I'm happy for him since it sounds like exactly what he was waiting for.
Have a great weekend everyone.Jonesy
