This is not graphic or gory -- but no less deplorable. Apparently, this is in Oregon. Each crate has a calf in it, removed from their mother one hour after they were born. The mother had enough time to clean up the birth, lick, smell and intially bond with the calf, before they were taken away to live in boxes. Death will ensue in approximately six weeks. Until then, here they remain, unable to move, so as to make their meat 'tender.' Then they become veal steaks. Please everyone, for the sake of all --

I used to eat veal until I realized where it really came from - so sad for those poor calves - if everyone would just give up eating "veal" they wouldn't have to go through that torture - something to really really think about.....

So sad, cruel and unusual punishment indeed.

Good afternoon. Went to the doctor and the results of my test confirm the earlier revelations. Dam! Guess I'm going to have to find the money and start the injections. But feeling great and off to see Brit Floyd tonight, hopefully they are as good as the shows on PBS. The say they are playing songs from every Pink Floyd album.
As much as I agree with Electric_Viking and wished they had played more back track of classic albums and not just the hits, which was there down fall. A program director who does not know the audience. Some of the song I like and some not so much, but at least it something different. Are they playing rock right up to current? Can we hear the latest AC/DC or Chickenfoot?
