Yes sadly Jack Bruce is gone at 71 years of age. Cream was one of my old faves back in the days of great music, he was also with John Mayall, Manfred Mann and a few others.



There's a Halloween thing going on for the kids over in Kew Gardens - I can hear it in in the house, one guy is really loud! anyways, sounds like they are having fun. A little parade with the doggies and others dressed up is going down Queen shortly.

I am feeling very tired today, didn't sleep very well but gotta go out and see if I can get a deal on a camera down the street. No, I haven't misplaced my other one (!!!) just want to get a better one.

Yeah I'm back and did get the deal I wanted on the camera I've had my eye on, it was a decision between this one and another one that cost around $100 more, but seeing it priced even better in a flyer this weekend and hearing that the other one didn't really have that much more to offer I figured I'd get this one but the add was one of those "liimited quantities" ones which are not usually accepted and upon calling them it would be a final sale, so I was kind of expecting a no when I went to Black's to ask if they would price match it, but this girl said Okay we'll match it! I also got her to give me a 4 year warranty for the price of a 2 year one included in their "bundle" and I can go buy a better case in another store and they will refund me me the money! Gotta love wheeling and a dealing! That looking in flyers this weekend saved me $50 off the lowest price I could find for this particular camera and I've been looking for a few weeks. Black's also includes a one hour instruction on using it which I could use since I'm leaving shortly. They only had it in black but I would prefer the white so they are ordering that one in for me too which at some places costs more! So that is one worry off my poor tired mind.......as long as a manager doesn't come in and say no we can't do that!!!! I did have it on hold only until 4 today at the other place (they only had one) but didn't really want to buy it there with no return policy - at least at Black's you can get a credit towards another one until 45 days after purchase if desired after using it and the other place offered no return after a couple of days. So I didn't tell Black's but I actually would not have bought it at the other place anyways!!! Oh and I didn't mention to her that I have a $10 off any Canon camera I buy at Black's - will mention that upon purchase


I want to take some good pictures when in Turkey which is coming up pretty soon.............

He , however, may very well be a she.
Toadman lives in my garden and is my pet,
although he does not know it.
He eats bugs and scares women, children ....and sometimes me!



I love toadman, warts and all.
His personality could use a little work though.

bet he feels it is nice to be loved RL! Good on you! I have a feeling you don't give the same love to stray kitties that visit your yard or do you????? If the answer is no well I would say that is a no no!!! Just sayin'.........

I have flown to Western Europe many times for business, at times almost once a month.
Do everything in moderation on the way there.
Sleep as much as you can on the plane.
DO NOT SLEEP WHEN YOU GET THERE!
A "SHORT" nap around 3 or 4 PM local time, DO NOT SLEEP MORE THAN ONE HOUR.

Get out and go!
Take some tea, keep walking.

Eat a Fabulous Dinner late, drink heavily!

Sleep and do not get out of bed until the sun is up!

That's it; ready set go, repeat!
