Happy Psych-Psunday All...
Went to a Charity Costume Party yesterday, which was Fun.
Today, I was the Baby Sitter while His Mom and my Wife went out for a couple of Hours.
Then, the Wife and I went to a Restaurant to Help Celebrate my Buddy's Birthday. Big Gathering.
After which, my Wife wanted to go to Yorkdale... which was Good for an Hour or so.
Just got in, so it is Rest Time.

I live in a Cartoon World as I am surrounded by Characters.

O.K. , so if you're ever in the hot tube watching the N.F.L. projected onto the garage while listening
to youtube songs and reading Greek prose translated to English you probably shouldn't drink gin.
This will probably be a famous proverb at some point well in the future.@

Hey everyone,
I'm still alive... though at times I wonder....
Jester my friend, Thank you for inviting me to the lunch and I will strongly consider it.
I appreciate that I haven't been forgotten...
It has been a hell of a year, in fact the last 3 have put me through some incredible challenges....
and I'm alive and still breathing. Thank goodness for small miracles.
I have stayed in touch with a few of you... and I appreciate it deeply.
For those of you who may not know, my beloved mom, passed away Aug 17 @ 2:28 pm.
We were with her...
We had taken her out for ice cream on Saturday... and for a long drive..
Anyhow on Monday the 18 I had to make the arrangements and purchase appropriate clothing for my daughter and myself.
I had brought only enough clothes for the weekend, & flops and sandals.
On my way into the mall I fell... my mind was obviously on something else.. As luck would have it a paramedic entered the mall at the same time and stopped to help me.. and coming out of the mall at the same time was a Dr who offered me assistance. I told them thanks but I am ok. The 2 men both said they would help and began a quiet argument and the paramedic stormed off.
I picked myself up and continued on my way... though I was in a great deal of pain as I had braced myself with my left arm.. not wanting to land face first on the marble floor. I bought some basic clothes... and went back to my mom's place where we were staying... My shoulder was quite painful and I figured it would stop hurting in a few weeks.
Tuesday afternoon the funeral took place. A very small private ceremony.
Wednesday I had to go to a government office downtown Montreal to do some paperwork for my mom. Got it completed and filed and we had been lucky enough to find parking right outside the government building. Driving back to my mom's, some bright bulb decided he was going to turn right from the far left lane.... right into the front end of my vehicle. My husband was driving. We went after the guy and I called the police and gave them the license # and a description of the driver and his car. We were told not to follow the guy.. to park and the police would meet us and they did.
Another ironic thing, the driver and his car live halfway to Quebec City...
I have a police officer who is on the case and keeps me up to date..so far the driver has not been available to meet with the police....yet...
As for my shoulder, I finally went to see my Dr. after 2 months. He thought I had done damage to my rotator cuff and sent me for a special x ray & an ultrasound. Funny enough, I was able to golf but cannot always do up my seat belt or my bra...
I began physio last week. Nothing torn or broken. though I have severe inflammation ... bursitis...
It will be ok... I am quite certain of that.
Side note:
I was so happy I was able to buy excellent seats for Fleetwood Mac in Feb in a pre-sale, only to find out I would not be able to attend... and I sold them on Saturday.. C'est la vie.
This is my life and I approve this message!!!
xoxoxo
Have a good night...

evening Q sters,
A cool, but sunny day out. got up this morning, changed all the clocks, got the laundry started, made an omelette for brekkie, made a big pot of curry butternut & mushroom soup for lunches this week, got the dishwasher going & everything was done before the race started. Jimmie Johnson won this one. Back to work tomorrow.
Great news about my brother. after a scare a couple of weeks back at the hospital, where his tube clogged up & he couldn't breathe. Doctors rushed him into surgery to replace his tube, they had him in a critical ward to keep a watch on him & outfitted him with a panic button to press, since he couldn't call for help. the test results came back non cancerous, which is great news. they started him on a steroid plan to shrink the tumour & now he is off the roid treatment, cause he can't stay on it for long. They sent him home this weekend & also were able to remove his breathing tube. the treatment worked at shrinking the tumour. they now have to find another treatment to keep it shrunk. a nurse comes every day to check on him, make sure he's taking his meds & he's eating. he still has his panic button, but since his tube is out, he is able to talk. home care will take him to his follow up appointment on the 10th. so glad he's out of the hospital, but he still has a long road to go to get back to "norm".
Wonderful news on your son's costume win, Aloha!
Well isn't Jakie a clever one. glad he is safe & sound, 22.
