OK so did I miss something?
When an announcement comes on the radio telling us that we are in the middle of 30 minutes of uninterrupted music considered an interruption?

I believe it was Blair Bartrem that pissed her off...
"Earlier in the summer... some restructuring we'll be making to our Club Q points collection system.
Thank you for your participation in Club Q and thanks for listening to Q107!

Way back when ... Lamaze class ... they told us to get a thought of a calm, relaxing place at the ready so we could call it up on a moment's notice. Just to make sure that everyone had all the details of their own personal Eden worked out, they asked us to describe our calm, relaxing place in the minutest detail. To a person each had a variation of the beach/hammock theme. Except me. Mine started standing atop of a double diamond run (on the north side of Ste. Anne if you must know) on a bright, sunny, NOT TOO COLD day. Push off with Willie Nelson's "Blue Skies" running through my head - pole planting and check-turns on the beat! (GAWD - do not tell McSkier or Attitash this!!) My husband at the time just chuckled, closed his eyes and shook his head in an unstated "only you could come up with that".
There were many horrified pregnant people looking at me as if I had horns growing out of my head. "How is THAT relaxing??"
My answer: it's pretty hard to think about anything else but trying to ski to the beat on a double diamond run. They had to agree!!Courage is not the absence of fear but acting in spite of it.

I took my dad to the mall to buy some new shoes (he is 66).
We decided to grab a bite at the food court.
I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him.
The teenager had spiked hair in all different colours -
green, red, orange, and blue.
My dad kept staring at her.
The teenager kept looking and would find my dad staring every time.
When the teenager had had enough, she sarcastically asked:
"What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?"
Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not
choke on his response; I knew he would have a good one!
In classic style he responded without batting an eyelid ...
"Got stoned once and had sex with a parrot.
I was just wondering if you might be my kid."
