What's a disk? I think I remember some mention of those back in the 90's

I think they it may have been used in conjuncture with this contraption

As of October 28th, 2011 we will no longer be offering points connected to our website activities. To be clear, you will still be a member of Club Q. It is only the points component that will be affected.

We wanted to give you plenty of notice to enable you to make use of the points you've collected thus far. There are still many prizes and exciting opportunities for you to bid on right up until the end of October, so we encourage you to redeem your points and enter as many contests as you can!

Thank you for your participation in Club Q and thanks for listening to Q107!

SO its just points and we're all still a part of Club Q. I guess more to come what Club Q means.
I sent Blair a reply suggesting that 'Q' add some of their own swag to the auctions list, as local givaways. This would give us a chance to get something for our efforts.

Yes TR, that was certainly an impressive light show, and it went on for hours!
Some pretty good lightning, but no damage here. Sorry about your tree.

So I'm wondering, who was it that got Mother Nature so pissed at us?

OK so did I miss something?

When an announcement comes on the radio telling us that we are in the middle of 30 minutes of uninterrupted music considered an interruption?

Just to make sure that everyone had all the details of their own personal Eden worked out, they asked us to describe our calm, relaxing place in the minutest detail. To a person each had a variation of the beach/hammock theme. Except me. Mine started standing atop of a double diamond run (on the north side of Ste. Anne if you must know) on a bright, sunny, NOT TOO COLD day. Push off with Willie Nelson's "Blue Skies" running through my head - pole planting and check-turns on the beat! (GAWD - do not tell McSkier or Attitash this!!) My husband at the time just chuckled, closed his eyes and shook his head in an unstated "only you could come up with that".

There were many horrified pregnant people looking at me as if I had horns growing out of my head. "How is THAT relaxing??"

My answer: it's pretty hard to think about anything else but trying to ski to the beat on a double diamond run. They had to agree!!

I took my dad to the mall to buy some new shoes (he is 66).
We decided to grab a bite at the food court.
I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him.
The teenager had spiked hair in all different colours -
    green, red, orange, and blue.
My dad kept staring at her.

The teenager kept looking and would find my dad staring every time.

When the teenager had had enough, she sarcastically asked:
"What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?"

Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not
choke on his response; I knew he would have a good one!

In classic style he responded without batting an eyelid ...

"Got stoned once and had sex with a parrot.
I was just wondering if you might be my kid."

Come sing a song of Superman? I don't think so (homey don't play that). If I'm gonna sing a rollicking tune to a real man's man of a made-in-Canada superhero, there's only one choice ...
