Good afternoon my Q friends. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. What a gorgeous day. The sun is out and not bad temp. wise.

Been up at my parents for the week helping out. Mom went to the hospital Monday night she got the flu and had a bad fever. It shut her brain down. She couldn't walk or any routine things. She was out of the hospital Tuesday afternoon. Doc said she would probably recover faster at home.Thankfully her fever broke. She got all her senses back. Except for her memory, she has dementia. My mom is doing well now.

I have a lot of catching up to do. Peace and Love.

Wow that took a while, just made a Curry Lentil Loaf for the first time but it took longer than I thought, glad psych Sunday is on to listen to!
Ingredients - red lentils, quinoa, onion, mushrooms, red pepper, eggs, garlic, cup of cilantro, rolled oats, almonds, curry powder. Guess it was the slicing, browning the vegs, cooking the lentils and the quinoe, crushing the almonds and snipping all that cilantro.....it's in the oven now - hope it tastes good in the end...

damn probably won't get out at this point, guess I'll go on the treadmill before the sauna......


sorry about your mom spart, hard dealing with your parents being ill - I know I went through hell with my dad's stroke.....and of course he went through worse..........

Always loved the Old Grey Whistle Test (OGWT)- whispering Bob Harris exposed many quality acts to the viewing public through this show

The Old Grey Whistle Test (usually abbreviated to Whistle Test or OGWT) is a British television music show commissioned by Sir David Attenborough^[1] and aired on BBC2 that ran from 1971 to 1988. It took over the BBC2 late night slot from Disco 2, which ran between September 1970 and July 1971, while continuing to feature non-chart music.
The show was devised by BBC producer Rowan Ayers. The original producer, involved in an executive capacity throughout^[2] the show's entire history, was Michael Appleton. According to presenter Bob Harris, the programme derived its name from a Tin Pan Alley phrase from years before. When they got the first pressing of a record they would play it to people they called the old greys-doormen in grey suits. The songs they could remember and whistle, having heard it just once or twice, had passed the old grey whistle test.
